Must Visit Waterfalls in Coorg

No visit to Coorg would be complete without making a visit to the chillest waterfalls which has been considered as the biggest attraction that definitely draws large number of tourist from all over the world. Big attraction for tourists and filmdom is the Abbey falls which 8 kms from Madikeri. Even during the summer there is plenty of water in these falls.
The another most important falls in the Coorg is Irpu falls, which is a narrow waterfalls, is extremely beautiful to see. You could begin from behind the Rameshwarna temple, and relax at a refreshing pond halfway up the falls. Don’t miss out to chill in the most astonishing waterfall.

Raja’s Seat

Raja’s Seat is the must visit tourist spot that is located in the town of Madikeri. It is the place where the kings used to sit along with their lovable one and watch the sunsets. The view is spectacular from here as one can gaze upon the beautiful hills and valleys. Mountains in Coorg

Coorg is not only famous for its astonishing attractions, but also the place is perfect for trekking where one can find out plenty of towering peaks and valleys. One of the most popular trekking routes is from Kakkabe to Thadiyandamol, which is the state’s highest peak. Allow at least five hours for this trek. Many people also enjoy trekking from the Brahmagiri range, starting from Virajpet, to Irupu Falls. Boating in Coorg is truly exiting. Sailing through the nature amisdst the tossing green is bliss in itself.


The town has beautiful sprawling coffee plantations with beautiful landscapes and several enchanting places. The place is considered holy and special puja is being offered every year on Gowri festival. The Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in also located in Somwarpet, it is an ideal spot for tourist who like to experience the wilderness.
